DETACHED FAMILY HOUSE, OXFORDSHIRE

Project comprising the demolition of the existing single garage and erection of a new single storey rear extension.

Working closely with the client, Arcline Architecture proposed a scheme which maximised the use of the plot following the demolition of the unused single garage.

The design provides the client with a large kitchen, breakfast area and with separate utility space in a traditional design to match the style and vernacular of the existing dwelling. Two large roof lights were proposed to improve levels of natural light into the hallway while large french patio doors provide access and ventilation out into the garden space.
