DETACHED FAMILY HOUSE, REAR EXTENSION, HIGH WYCOMBE

Scheme comprising the demolition of the existing single storey conservatory and erection of new single storey rear extension with the reconfiguration of the internal layout of the dwelling.

Following the recent purchase of the property the client wanted to remove the existing conservatory and replace it with a single storey rear extension to provide themselves with a large dining space while also reconfiguring the ground floor to accommodate a WC and utility room.

Working closely with the client, Arcline Architecture proposed rotating the extension around to line up perpendicularly with the rear space to improve the clients views into the garden from the property. Large floor to ceiling sliding doors were also proposed, as well as a large roof light has to maximise natural light deep into the dwelling.
